Introduction of Nepal Bhasa (Newari)

The word "Newar" refers to an indigenous linguistic community of Nepal. The native region of the Newar community is the Kathmandu Valley. Apart from the Kathmandu Valley, this community is mostly found in urban areas of other districts.

The language spoken by the Newar community, spread across various regions, is called the Newar language. The term Newar language is an historical, social, cultural, and literary term in Newar literature. This language belongs to the Tibeto-Burman language family and has developed through the blending of various languages of the Kirati people, flourishing in a literary sense since the Malla period.

Generally, this language spoken by the Newar community is now also spoken by people of other communities. In addition to the development of civilization and cultural preservation, it is essential to pass it down to future generations.
